Wakefield Scouts own and operate three canal boats, a 52ft narrowboat a 55ft wide beam and a 38ft training boat which are available for hire for short evening trips, weekend trips and full-week trips for those looking to travel further afield.

To hire our boats you or a member of your party require a 'Scout Association Adventurous Activities (Narrow Boat) permit or Girl Guiding equivalent' which typically takes 4 to 6 training days to achieve,  Please visit our training page.
