Narrowboat Permit Training App

Welcome to the exciting first step towards becoming a Scout Narrowboat permit holder!

Your two-day onboard training session should be all set by now, and we can't wait to see you the boat!

Before you hop on board, make sure to download our app, which you can also access on your desktop.

Dive into the app, and once you feel ready, take the 'Test Your Knowledge' quiz.

You and your onboard trainer will receive your results, opening the door for any further discussions if needed.

Our app is your go-to resource, allowing you to revisit and refresh your knowledge anytime you like

But before you click on that app, check out the instructions below to save it to your mobile device!

Save to Your iPhone or iPad Home Screen

The app will open in the Safari browser.
Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing upward) at the bottom of the screen. On some iPads, the Share button may appear at the top of the screen.
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
Edit the name of the shortcut if desired.
Tap Add in the top-right corner.
The app icon will now appear on your Home Screen and can be opened with a single tap.

Note: If you do not see Add to Home Screen, scroll to the bottom of the Share menu, tap Edit Actions, and add it to your available actions.

The app will open in Google Chrome.
Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
Select Add to Home screen (sometimes shown as Install app or Add shortcut to Home screen).
Enter a name for the app if you want to change it.
Tap Add.
Confirm by tapping Add automatically or drag the icon to your preferred location on the Home Screen.

The app will now appear on your Home Screen. Tapping it will open the app directly.
